Brittany is a graduate student in the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Environmental Conservation program. She also works for Care of Creation, a Christian environmental nonprofit based in Madison, Wisconsin. One of her main projects involves working with a global base of creation care-minded evangelicals who are part of the Lausanne/Word Evangelical Alliance Creation Care Network.
Brittany received her B.S. in International Agriculture and Natural Resources from UW-Madison in December of 2012. She was blessed to be part of the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) Undergraduate chapter and the Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society during her undergraduate years. Through these experiences, she gained a passion for sharing her faith with scientists and for sharing about wildlife ecology with her Christian friends. In her free time, Brittany enjoys serving with her church community, Blackhawk Church Downtown, trail running, hiking, birding, and oil painting. Brittany served as YECA’s Communications Coordinator from 2015-2016.
